Teed Solo with Digital Echoplex
This selection is called ‘Downtown New Delhi’ from my latest demo tape, and was
recorded solo on Stick in one take with no overdubs. No, I don’t have eight hands,
this is the result of a marvelous sampling device called the Oberheim Echoplex
Digital Pro(r). It can store different loops and bring them back, remove old
material from existing loops, overwrite over parts of loops and save others …
But controlling it is like playing the Chapman stick with your feet! If you want
your own copy of this song, and two others, you can send me $8.00 (includes
postage and handling) to: 2419A Tenth Street, Berkeley CA 94710 USA.
(Please add $5 for orders outside the United States, thanks!)
