|Hi, my name is Ray Ashley. I have been playing the Stick since 1993. I like to play live, improvisational rock, and I like to brew high quality beer. I write my music the same way I craft my brews. Throwing caution to the wind, I evoke Ninkasa, the Sumerian goddess of beer. Ninkasa guides me in the brewhouse, and also as I navigate my way through a typical 90 minute set of music, accompanied by Joe D’Andrea on drums.
My Stick is made of Oak. My brewpot spoon is made of pine. I craft my music and my beer with CREATIVE HANDS. My beer is not for sale, but my music can be yours for a nominal charge. Skol!
